STROMING / 2025 / IN PROGRESS

Stroming is an experimental film project in which I explore the Waterway region as a place of origin, departure and return, using webcam footage and the perspective of the Waterway to question themes of migration, the search for home and globalization.

The film weaves personal reflection together with the region’s maritime history, its constant movement and the question of why so many young people are drawn to the city. Developing further into a fiction film and installation in collaboration with regional artists, the project is my ode to the Waterway, aiming to reveal the richness, culture and connectedness of this environment and to bring people from the region together.
