A documentary portrait of craftsman Lionel Schafer, an archetype with a unique vision on life. Lionel is the founder of a foundation that brings together artist from France, Africa, and South America. They all work with recycled and waste materials to create unique pieces. The film offers a look into the life and work of Lionel Schafer.

Jouer Jouer Jouer was made in 2023 together with Samuel Andréa Wagner, while we were in France. We made the film together; I was mainly responsible for the cinematography and editing, and Samuel handled production and interviews.

A major inspiration for the editing was Les Glaneurs et la Glaneuse by Agnès Varda, a documentary in which traveling through French landscapes and personal stories merge into an intimate portrayal of life.
